Is it Spring ?

My chicken seems to think it is Spring ! These little cuties appeared overnight with another few about to hatch at any moment !

They are doing fabulously Janice, their wings are fully feathered now...I have pictures but with other things going on, I haven't had time to post them ! I shall rectify the matter soon.....although now I have impending husky puppies to photograph too .....

Ah yes Tony might well be :) Am waiting for some nice dry weather so I can let the little ones and mum out for a stroll in the garden but daren't at the moment as it's so wet under foot ! As soon as we have a dryish day I will get a better pic....can't wait to see their little faces !!

That might explain where I picked it up from. I spent some time in New Zealand. Definitely has an antipodean ring to it. :)

I promise too that some time tomorrow I will take a better photo using my camera instead of my phone. There are 4 little chicks now. The hen is stubbornly sitting on the final two eggs but I don't hold out much hope for them as can't hear any chirping.

Wow Janice, now that is definitely a new one on me....I've never heard that phrase before ! You never know...I might start calling them that now ! Been in Suffolk for 8 years.....so I suppose I ought to start adopting the lingo now lol ;-)

Stan used to keep chickens and he says coopy eggs (pronounced like coo pee ) lol x he was born and bred in Suffolk. lol :)
