I took these pictures yesterday whilst outdoors in the bitter Winter temperatures. I discovered this little newt when I was clearing a pile of leaves by hand. I only just managed to spot it as it was so small, the most tiniest one I have ever seen. I put it on my hand for scale. I think he comes under the title 'Curious Suffolk' because I find them very curious. He had such minute little toes, a perfect little amphibian.
