A dozen iwitters all met up at Dunwich for a brilliant day of photography on what must have been the best weather so far this year. The heath had beautiful bright yellow Gorse out and there were sightings of Stonechat, Dartford Warblers, Linnet,Snakes and Deer. A good day had by all and looking forward to meeting at Sculthorpe Hawk and Owl Trust on Sunday 21st May at 11 am, all welcome, contact Peter Bash at hawkwitness@gmail.com for details and to say you are coming.

Being new to this website, I have only posted just a few images. I too have noticed that the quality varies from pretty good to very good, but that is almost irrelevant. What matters is not how good our images are, but the fact that people like to share their experiences and good times with others of a like mind. Peter Bash and his group are a great example of that, and we were welcomed by all at the Sculthorpe Moor trip.
Keep up the good work Peter !!

Meet at Sculthorpe  Hawk and Owl Sunday 21/5/17 11 am
I have arranged a meet at The Hawk and Owl Trust, Sculthorpe, 11am Sunday 21st May 2017 for iwitters, friends and family.A great opportunity to put faces to names!

Sculthorpe Moor is a really lovely, peaceful and tranquil reserve and one of the most accessible for all people that I have visited and a firm favourite of mine at which I took the photo above and many, many more since.
The whole reserve is accessed by board walks and volunteers have built an amazing aerial board walk and hide 4 metres high up in the trees, giving great views across the fen for both able bodied and disabled birders alike.
