Photos were taken within minutes of Clare, on or near the Clare Circular Walk. The swans are on the River Stour, which separates Suffolk from EssexClare Country Park has good footpaths along the river and a motte for views. Clare Priory, on the edge of the town and park, was one of the first to casualties of Henry Viii, perhaps for its Yorkist links; it is now a combination of restored buildings, picturesque ruins and active Augustinian community. Clare Common was given by Katherine of Aragon.
