Thanks sharon wright does not seem big enough to
carry it but it dropped it as i approached then
went undercover and as i waited it returned
and trotted off with the rabbit as if nothing had happened.

Hello Janice , Apparently the female Beewolf, which is a wasp,places
several of its paralyzed prey, usually honey bees, together with an egg
in a small underground chamber (tunnel) to serve as food for the wasp larvae.
